Panthers Lose, 7-4, at Stable Park | The Kingwood Knights topped the Charleston Panthers by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Dennis George. George went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Knights. Kingwood reliever Ramon Feliciano picked up the win to move to 1-0. Danny Medina suffered the loss. Pat Glaze earned his 2nd save in 3 chances.
Tobias Garcia aided the Kingwood cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 4-4 with 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Garcia said.
The win boosts the Knights to 80-81. The loss puts the Panthers at 94-67.
