Tornadoes Walk It Off for 30th Win of Season
The Kansas City Tornadoes picked up a win at Debris Field, dropping the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 6-4. John Nauss, who is tied for 4th in the RCL with a 3.87 ERA, was the difference-maker. The win went to Bill LaForge in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Jay Clayton took the loss. The last-place Butterflies dropped to 27-38.

Kansas City got a clutch hit from Vinnie Fasnacht. The shortstop launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"That's how to finish a ballgame," said Fasnacht.
