It seemed Buffalo Bison shortstop Jose Espinoza could do no wrong, but it still didn't come out right.

The Bison fell against the Montreal Mounties by the score of 9-6. Espinoza did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Montreal prevailed at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium.

"I felt real good, but my best just wasn't enough," Espinoza said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."

Jose Espinoza hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This year, Espinoza has hit at a .297 pace and produced 36 RBIs, 10 home runs and scored 32 runs.
