Brisbane Gets 8-4 Win Against Barrels
The Brisbane Bush Wackers defeated the Niagara Falls Barrels, 8-4, at Baylor Ballpark. Leading the charge for Brisbane was designated hitter Alfonso Valle. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Alejandro Corredor earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 4-4. The Bush Wackers, at 61-76, inhabit 4th place in the RCL A Dusty Baker Division.

With Brisbane trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Valle hit a slider from Dillon Cheeks for a grand slam home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Bush Wackers ahead, 4-1.
