On Road, Seattle Beats Walnut Creek, 5-4

The Seattle Sasquatch beat the Walnut Creek Warriors, 5-4, at Castlerock Field. Ignacio Pertorini, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Picking up the win was Joe McKnight. He went 7.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 1. Nate Wesson earned the save for Seattle, his 10th.
Pertorini contributed in the top of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Seattle get the win.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Walnut Creek manager Miguel de la Rosa. "The effort was great."
The Sasquatch, at 25-31, sit in 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.
