Tree City designated hitter Eric Price was named player of the game for his performance. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Tree City reliever Kevin Lewis was the winner. His record is now 4-2. The losing pitcher was Brenden Miller. Tree City now has a 3-game win streak.
Ryan Salzman aided the Tree City cause with a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with a triple, while adding 4 RBI.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Salzman told the Tree City Gazette.
