| Black Squirrels Fall Short at Bel Air | Li-cong Ju had a good game, but he could not keep the Tree City Black Squirrels from falling, 6-5, to the Bel Air Princes at Philip Banks Field. The Tree City shortstop was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk in the loss. The Princes bumped their record to 79-74 with this latest triumph.
The Princes were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when first baseman Ben Speece turned a 1-1 fastball from Chris Long into a 2-run home run. The walk-off home run sent a roar through the crowd and gave Bel Air a thrilling 6-5 win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Speece said after the game.
