| Late Rally by Vikings Secures Win | Dublin second baseman Dan Poapst played a vital role in his team's 7-4 triumph over Atlantic City. He was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times for Dublin. Aaron Green got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The Vikings bumped their record to 85-69 with this latest triumph.
Poapst had a game-changing single in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 fastball from Moos Teunisse, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Vikings a 5-4 lead. It was the 61st hit of the year for Poapst.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Poapst said after the game.
