Chicago Gets 4-1 Road Win
|
The Chicago Eclipse downed the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-1, at Field de Los Layendas. Stellar pitching by Clay Tedesco had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the TML in wins with 5, handcuffed his opponent all game. Cabo San Lucas, at 20-34, has lost 4 straight.
Danny Mercado, who finished 3rd in the TML in extra base hits with 69 in 2058, had a direct impact on the outcome. Mercado contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Chicago up, 2-0.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Mercado.
