Kingwood defeated Nichols, 13-8, in large part due to 23-year old left fielder Kyler Bowen. Bowen drove in 5 runs. The designated hitter had 2 doubles and 1 home run for the Knights. Kingwood pitcher Bob Bower got the win. He's now 11-13. Damian Camacho was tagged with the loss. Kingwood, at 78-73, sits in 4th place in the TML HA Dick Williams Division.

Kingwood relied on the bat of Salvador Guzman to get the win. The catcher produced a run-scoring strikeout in the top of the first inning to put the Knights ahead, 2-0. For the game, Guzman had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
