The St. Paul Saints defeated the Victoria Vikings, 7-6, at Saints Ballpark. Leading the charge for St. Paul was center fielder Butch Beckman. He was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. "You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Beckman told the St. Paul Gazette.
