Delgado Now 12-6 After Subduing Cyclones
The Okanagan Lake Monsters got a magnificent performance from pitcher Carlos Delgado, who muffled the Coney Island offense en route to a tight 2-1 Lake Monsters win at Elks Stadium. Okanagan is now 97-55, 8½ games up in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.
The Cyclones had trouble solving Delgado, who surrendered no earned runs on 2 hits over 6 innings.
"I like our moxie," said Lake Monsters manager Stu Yarbrough.
