| Vikings Win at Brisbane, 5-1 | The Dublin Vikings topped the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 5-1, with youngster Tyler Crittenden playing a key role. Crittenden was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Vikings in the win. Aaron White got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. The Vikings bumped their record to 83-68 with this latest triumph.
Crittenden had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Vikings went on to win.
"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Crittenden told the Dublin Times. "You win just by scoring more runs."
