Cody Jaeger did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Montreal Mounties from being beaten, 5-4, to the Buffalo Bison at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Jaeger went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. D.J. Handrahan picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Bill Wolfe suffered the loss. The Bison improved their record to 27-27 with the win over Montreal.

Buffalo took a 5-4 lead on Danny Pellot's 10th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Pellot hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Montreal pitcher Bill Wolfe visibly frustrated.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Pellot, "one at-bat at a time."
