| Princes Lose, 4-3, at Prefontaine Park | The Emeralds had to overcome a good performance from Bel Air pitcher Greg Hunt to claim a 4-3 win at Prefontaine Park. Hunt went 7 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. Pablo Baca picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-4. Greg Hunt was tagged with the loss. Eugene is now 55-96, Bel Air 76-73.
Juan Feliciano aided the Eugene cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Bel Air manager Leland Austin said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
