Sting Win 3-1 Walk-Off
|
The Houston Sting went home winners at Woodland Park, thanks in large part to starter Chris Piotrowski. Piotrowski stifled the San Angelo Mustangs, enabling Houston to grab the 3-1 win. The defeat makes San Angelo 23-105.
Houston got a knockout punch from Roberto Saldivar. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Piotrowski.
