Dancin' Outlaws Win at Tree City, 2-1 | West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws starter Tony Lucero pitched a strong game against the Tree City Black Squirrels at The Nut House, leading the Dancin' Outlaws to a 2-1 win. Mike Crawford notched his 5th save in 7 chances. West Virginia now sits in 5th place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division at 58-89.
Mike Marti was 1-4 with a double and a walk for West Virginia. The 21-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Cory Kieck. It was his 22nd walk of the season.
"Runs were at a premium," said West Virginia manager Michel Hérault.
