| Vikings Prevail, 5-3, Over Kingwood | Fans who gathered at Stable Park saw a good contest between the Victoria Vikings and Kingwood Knights.
Victoria Vikings starter John Roberts was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kingwood Knights, 5-3. Roberts went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 6-6. Werner Jackman was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 17 of 18 save opportunities.
Gregório Gosende, who is tied for 7th in the LBL with a .859 OPS, aided the Victoria cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 runs.
