The Brownsville Bandits managed to get by the San Antonio River Bandits, 9-8, at Bandits Grove. Brownsville shortstop Aaron Knowles set himself apart with his performance. Brownsville reliever Victor Delgado picked up the win, upping his record to 2-5. Alex Moreno took the loss. The win gives Brownsville a season record of 76-53.

Knowles delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth to win it for Brownsville. In the contest, Knowles was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Bandits manager Izumo Ikarashi.
