| Victory Pushes Kings Record to 87-58 | The Atlantic City Kings topped the Eugene Emeralds, 6-3, in Donnie Moore League action at The Royal Colosseum. The player of the game was Atlantic City pitcher Eddie Lara. Moos Teunisse converted his 36th save in 38 tries. Atlantic City is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Kings got a big at-bat from left fielder Ray Bailey. For the game, Bailey went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 27th double of the season gave Atlantic City a 2-0 lead.
