| Knights Clip Vikings, 4-3 | The Kingwood Knights scored a 4-3 win versus the Victoria Vikings at Stable Park. Kingwood designated hitter Cruz Cruz nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Bryan Marks converted his 30th save in 38 tries. The Knights bumped their record to 74-72 with this latest triumph.
Oscar Arballo drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Kingwood. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Timmo van Bladel. It was his 47th walk of the season.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Victoria skipper Bernardo Moreno.
