Emeralds Win Nail-Biter in 10

The Eugene Emeralds faced a tough opponent in Ocala pitcher Mike Ramirez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Prefontaine Park by a final score of 1-0 in 10 innings. Ramirez went 9 innings and allowed no runs. The Emeralds go to 46-78 with the win.
The Emeralds got a clutch hit from designated hitter Chris Pope. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Emeralds.
