Havana center fielder Erik Mettlen was instrumental in helping the Stogies triumph, 5-2, over the Pennsylvania Butterflies. Mettlen went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Yale Fischer closed out the game, earning his 21st save. Havana is now 35-21.

Allen Larson, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in doubles with 16, chipped in a 2-run home run for Havana in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
