Nichols turned a good effort from starter Mario Vargas into a win over the Okanagan Lake Monsters at The Pond. The Gnats won the game, 8-2. The winner was Vargas. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Elijah Murphy. The Gnats are now 59-85, while the Lake Monsters fall to 83-61.
