| Princes Drop Knights with Late Score | The Bel Air Princes topped the Kingwood Knights, 7-6, with left fielder John Makeever playing a big role. Makeever was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Princes in the win. Bel Air reliever Fernando Diaz was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Jonathan Adams took the loss. Josh Belcher notched his 24th save in 29 chances.
It could have been a different outcome for Bel Air, had it not been for Antonio Santos, the speedster . Santos contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Bel Air up, 7-6.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Santos said after the game.
The Princes bumped their record to 72-68 with this latest triumph.
