The Chicago Eclipse, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Millennium Field.

In a close game at Millennium Field, the Chicago Eclipse edged the Buffalo Bison, 5-4. Chicago third baseman Dan Moran stood apart with his performance. He was 5-5 with 5 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Chicago reliever Joe Umlah, now 5-2. The loser was Mike Waldrup.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jason Shannon in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Mike Waldrup to win the game for Chicago. The home crowd went nuts.

"There's no quit in this team," said Eclipse manager Demetrio Recchia.

With the win, Chicago raised its record to 39-25.
