Knowles Goes Off, But Warriors Win
The Moose Jaw Warriors overcame a good performance by Brownsville shortstop Aaron Knowles to knock off Brownsville, 15-11, at Bandits Grove. Knowles hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Getting the save was Erik Newberry, his 1st. By defeating Brownsville, the third-place Warriors improved to 65-54.

Moose Jaw used the clutch hitting of Eric Templeton to snag the win. The right fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Warriors ahead, 15-11. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Moose Jaw manager José Soto.
