Campo right fielder Chris Williams was sensational. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Brisbane beat the NoBos, 8-7. Brisbane reliever Omar Ruelas picked up the win. Luis Vargas took the loss for Campo. The Bush Wackers saw their record improve to 37-99.

Ron Thames was 1-3 with 2 walks for Brisbane. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off George Bow. It was his 97th walk of the season.

Thames described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
