Eugene left fielder Kenny Forbush was instrumental in helping the Emeralds triumph, 10-6, over the San Antonio River Bandits. Forbush was 2-5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Roberto Pineda earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-3. The Emeralds now own a record of 43-73.

With the game tied, 6-6, in the bottom of the seventh, Forbush had a key at-bat for Eugene. With a runner on 2nd, Forbush hit a run-scoring single off Mike Englund, making the score 7-6, Emeralds.
