Led by Tim Barrett, the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws defeated the Moonbeam Martians, 8-6. Barrett was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Dancin' Outlaws. West Virginia reliever Jose Sanabria picked up the win, upping his record to 8-5. Les Coburn absorbed the loss. Donzel Albertrani earned his 33rd save, after closing out the game.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Dancin' Outlaws grabbed the lead when Barrett hit his 17th double of the season. The 2-run double off Les Coburn made it 8-6, West Virginia.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Barrett told the West Virginia Bulletin. "Whatever it takes."

The third-place Dancin' Outlaws are 72-64.
