|
The Bel Air Princes defeated the Campo NoBos, 9-1. Catcher Jared Hilburn deserved a large share of the credit. Hilburn went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Princes. The 'W' lifts Bel Air's record to 81-54.
With Bel Air leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Hilburn came up to bat against Campo pitcher Nick Hill. Hilburn hit a fastball to center for a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Princes on top, 3-0.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Bel Air skipper Greg England.
