Victoria right-hander Roger Anderson helped his team edge Chippewa by the score of 3-2. Anderson kept the opposing lineup in check. Justin Andes notched his 4th save in 8 chances. The Vikings bumped their record to 85-48 with this win.

Ryan Pruett had a direct impact on the outcome. Pruett contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Victoria up, 3-2.
