| Mena Hits 2 home runs in Vikings Win | The Victoria Vikings defeated the Chippewa River Chiefs, 8-4, at The Reservation. Victoria left fielder David Mena was named player of the game for his superb performance. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Victoria goes to 84-49. The win puts them 17½ games up in their division.
Mena had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Vikings went on to win.
"It feels good to get this one," Mena told the Victoria Today.
