West Virginia Dismisses Hazleton, 9-0
West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws starter Danny Rodriges pitched effectively against the Hazleton Birdwings at Road Warriors Field. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 9-0 win. Rodriges, now 6-11, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 7, walking 4, and allowing no runs. Zach DePiano earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game.

Victor Monreal had a big 2-run double for the Dancin' Outlaws in the top of the fifth inning. With West Virginia leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Marshall Barrington and swatted a double to center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dancin' Outlaws ahead, 4-0.

"I made a lot of good pitches," said Rodriges. "I was right where I wanted to be."

West Virginia sits in third place in the RCL HA Dusty Baker Division at 71-64.
