Brownsville turned a good performance from starting pitcher Brandon Cloud into a 5-2 triumph over the Ottawa Civics at Bandits Grove. Brownsville, at 51-62, sits in 5th place in the RCL A Tommy Lasorda Division.

The Bandits got a big at-bat from shortstop Ryan Quigley. For the game, Quigley went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 4 runs. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 11th double of the season gave Brownsville a 2-0 lead.
