| Vikings Fall Short at Dublin | A 3-RBI performance from Jim Merolli helped the Dublin Vikings beat the Victoria Vikings, 10-9. Dublin reliever Luis Herrera picked up the win to move to 1-4. Nick Germinaro suffered the loss. The Vikings bumped their record to 71-62 with this latest triumph.
Franklin Onofre had a nice at-bat for the Vikings with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the pinch hitter reached on an error by the SS, which would prove important in the Dublin win.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Merolli. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
