The Niagara Falls Barrels outlasted the Baltimore Magicians, 5-4, in 14 innings. Oscar Quijada played a key role, going 1-for-2 for Niagara Falls. The win for the Barrels lifted their record to 64-50.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Niagara Falls right fielder Ben Gordon, facing Alex Bonilla, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Barrels the 5-4 win.

Niagara Falls manager Mike Bouffard was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
