Boedeker Pops Two Homers in 17-6 Win for Victoria
Victoria catcher Gabe Boedeker had a 6-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Ocala Knights, 17-6. Eric Jones, who is tied for 9th in the THA in holds with 5, was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 10 hits, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts. Picking up his 3rd save was 24-year old left-handed pitcher Donovan Blake.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Boedeker hit a run-scoring single off Jonathon Hollenbeck. It propelled the Vikings into the lead, 4-3.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Boedeker told the Victoria Daily.

The Vikings have now won 4 straight.
