Starting pitcher Sander Rademakers pitched well enough to help the Mexico City Luchadores beat the Vancouver Pioneers, 4-3. Ray Heck, who finished 4th in the RCL in saves with 27 last year, nailed down the save. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Mexico City.

Leo Galdamez drove in 2 runs for Mexico City. The 20-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Noel Belcher. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.

"I thought he pitched pretty well," said Mexico City manager Prince Percival Papenfuss. "Sander did his part."
