| Road Warriors Bridle Panthers, 4-2 | The Westside Road Warriors stopped the Charleston Panthers, 4-2, behind an impressive performance from Chris DeLacy. The 23-year old catcher made life miserable for Charleston pitching. He went 3-3 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Westside reliever Jon Duren got the win, raising his record to 5-4. Katsuo Ishibashi was tagged with the loss. Manuel Visser got the save, his 20th in 21 chances.
DeLacy had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count curveball from Katsuo Ishibashi, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Road Warriors a 3-1 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for DeLacy.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," DeLacy told reporters after the game.
The win puts the Road Warriors at 67-64, while the Panthers drop to 78-51.
