Nick Schrock added some punch to the Memphis offense, helping them outmuscle the Nichols Gnats, 12-9. In the game, Schrock, who is tied for 7th in the THA in extra base hits with 56, was 3 for 6 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Bobby Gottlieb, credited with the save, is now 27 for 30 in save opportunities.

With Memphis leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Schrock hit a screwball from Mario Vargas for a 3-run home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Blues ahead, 4-0.

"Crazy game," said Schrock after it ended.
