Forbush Hits Two Homers in 11-5 Win for Eugene
Kenny Forbush was a major factor in the 11-5 Eugene win over Ocala. The Emeralds left fielder went 3-3 with 2 home runs, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. Carlos Gonzales picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-3. He struck out 3 in 5 innings. Ricky Osuna nailed down his 1st save.

With Eugene leading 6-4 in the top of the seventh, Forbush hit a curveball from Kazue Watanabe for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Emeralds ahead, 9-4.

"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Forbush. "Winning helps."

The win makes Eugene 39-70.
