Riding the 3-hit performance of the 20-year old second baseman Greg Stone, the Memphis Blues stopped the Nichols Gnats, 10-2. Memphis has rattled off 7 straight wins.

With Memphis leading 3-0 in the top of the third, Stone hit a splitter from Jose Contreras for a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Blues ahead, 6-0.

"The guys are feeling pretty good about where they're at right now," said Blues manager Mike Williams. "We have a lot of guys playing with confidence."
