Ralph Petsche was terrific for the Chippewa River Chiefs in his team's 8-0 triumph over the Baltimore Magicians. His performance earned Petsche rave reviews. In 5.1 innings, Petsche surrendered no hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Picking up the save was Ismael Zavala, his 3rd.
Sergio Bravo, who is rated as the 47th best prospect by BNN, chipped in a 3-run home run for Chippewa in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
"Ralph was dictating to their hitters," said Chippewa manager Pang Yip.
With the win, Chippewa pushed its record to 57-51.
