In an outstanding mound performance, Ocala Knights starter Danny Figueroa fired a complete-game shutout against the San Angelo Mustangs at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.

Figueroa was the key to the 3-0 Ocala win. The 23-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 2 hits and 2 walks he allowed.

"2 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."

This season, Figueroa has a 11-10 mark in 25 starts with a 5.05 ERA. He has given up 161 hits in 164 innings, struck out 171 and issued 91 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .262 batting average against him.
