4-2 Knights Win over Panthers Evens Season Record | Jose Quintana pitched well, but his team, the Charleston Panthers, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Kingwood Knights at Franklin Mountains Field. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Knights.
The Knights got a big at-bat from third baseman Jack Crosby. For the game, Crosby was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Kingwood a 3-2 lead.
"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Crosby. "It eases the tension."
