| Dancin' Outlaws Subdue Dublin, 3-2 | West Virginia pitcher Damani Letang did his part in helping his team beat the Dublin Vikings, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Rob Myers got the save, his 4th in 4 chances. The 5th-place Dancin' Outlaws raised their record to 47-76.
Luis Gutierrez aided the West Virginia cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Gutierrez told the West Virginia Citizen.
