| Pelicans Slip Past Atlantic City, 4-3 | St. Petersburg Pelicans starter Roger Katz was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Atlantic City Kings, 4-3. The Pelicans bumped their record to 84-40 with this latest triumph.
The Pelicans got a big at-bat from right fielder Frank Wickett. For the game, Wickett was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave St. Petersburg a 4-2 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Katz said after the game.
