Danny Botello, the 2nd overall pick in the 2063 draft, had a strong outing for the St. Petersburg Pelicans against the Campo NoBos at Valhalla Summit. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Kai-shek Yang sewed up the save, his 2nd. The win makes last-place St. Petersburg 24-98.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Ernie Rambo? The 22-year old second baseman Rambo stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put St. Petersburg up, 6-3. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Rambo told the St. Petersburg Citizen.
