5-2 Loss Extends Brisbane Losing Streak
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws picked up a win at Baylor Ballpark, topping the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 5-2. On the mound for West Virginia was right-hander John Heyes. He played a principal role in the triumph. Heyes yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 1 hit, walked 0, and struck out 5. His record improves to 13-7. Donzel Albertrani notched his 30th save in 31 chances.

West Virginia used a clutch at-bat from Forrest Backstrom to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dancin' Outlaws ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
