| Mustangs Win at Nichols, 8-4 | The Nichols Gnats got a superb performance from left fielder Sam Edgell. Still, it wasn't enough to beat San Angelo. The Mustangs won the game, 8-4. In spite of the loss, Edgell was named the player of the game. He was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Will Standridge got the win, improving to 4-12. He worked 5 innings, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 4. San Angelo is now 48-75, Nichols 55-64.
Stephen Todino chipped in for San Angelo with a 3-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
